Society of Amravati Sisters was registered as a society on 12 July 1974.   It’s registered office is situated in the state of Maharashtra at Holy Cross Convent, Camp, Amravati.  Its objectives are social and educational.  Our vision is to dispel poverty, ignorance and disease by whatever means possible and to help the poor of the entire community irrespective of caste, creed, race or religion, language or social status, either by educating them, providing food and shelter to them, by providing the necessities of life, by providing medical and other aid to them or by establishing suitable organisations and institutions for the benefit of the poor

To insist on the necessity of the inner change of persons.   To create a Society where people can live away from social conventions, self-contradictory moralities and contending religious, a place where human beings are freed from all slavery of the past and can devote themselves wholly to the discharge and practice of the divine consciousness that is seeking to manifest itself.  To point out that the future of the country lies in the spiritualisation of the activities of life, not the rejection of life but the transformation of life.

To educate, advice people in living a healthy, truthful, honest, sincere and perfect way of life in the various aspects, vocations and departments and to help and assist in the advancement and development of humanity and society and to diffuse useful knowledge, thoughts, ideals and information through our  social, health and educational work.  The aims, objects and activities of the Society extend to the whole of India.
