The unwanted babies of the unwed mothers are also taken care by the sisters and the staff. The sisters take care of the babies and see that they find a home through adoption in India & Abroad.

Holy Cross Home for Babies is a home where we try to make each child feel protected, cared and wanted. We consider it a privilege to be an agent of love and care to the less privileged children of our Society. Our mission is to allow them to bloom in the garden of life enhancing all the colors so that this delicate flower becomes brighter and spreads it fragrance all around.  Children between the ages of 0-6 year are admitted for various reasons. The babies of unwanted mothers, criminal parents, lost children and unwanted children are admitted through District child welfare committee. One of the most important aspects in caring for a child is timely medical care. At the time of admission all the investigations are done to rule out any health problems and to provide timely medical care. Blood investigations are done to detect deficiency diseases and also congenital abnormalities. Timely intervention helps us to avoid deficiency diseases. There are children with spasticity, mental retardation and slow milestones. These children are given special medical care and nutrition. It is very encouraging to see their journey to normalcy after various interventions.
